Your “Massive Action Plan
You now know what you want and you know why you want it. The only thing left to do is to figure out exactly how you are going to get it.
Continuing from the previous chapter and what I refer to as the Three-Step Process, it is now time to create your “massive action plan” of getting exactly what you want from life. You will start by conditioning yourself by using the power of repetition and your purpose statement.
It is important to note that if you create your purpose statement and then file it away somewhere or only look at it every now and then, it is of little or no use to you. In order to guarantee a positive result and to create lasting change you will need to learn to condition yourself for success.
You will need to begin the process of conditioning your subconscious mind every day to know exactly what you want and why you want. In fact, for the optimum results you’ll need to let your subconscious mind know exactly what you want and why you want it twice per day. First thing in the morning and last thing at night.
Let’s start with the morning. As part of your new morning routine, you are going to be required to read out loud your purpose statement. Yes, you read correctly. You will need to read your purpose statement out loud every morning. In addition, it’s extremely important that when you are reading your purpose statement out loud you are mixing in as much emotion as possible as you read.
You’ll need to really hit the key words with strong emotions and use your physiology and body language to really feel the words and emotions you are reading. For example, when I read my purpose statement, I hit the key words below highlighted in bold.
“My major definite purpose for today is to live my life to the best of my ability as a happy, well balanced, strong, independent man.
The reason I choose to live this lifestyle is because I know that living this way on a consistent, daily basis will virtually guarantee I will develop and enjoy lovely, lasting, meaningful relationships with my wife, children, friends, family, creator and virtually everyone I come into contact with.
I also know that living this lifestyle on a consistent basis I will develop and maintain higher levels of health and fitness.
Not only will I look and feel my best, but this will provide me the strength, energy, and longevity to enjoy life to the fullest.
In addition, I will continually grow as an individual. I will increase my level of intelligence, ability and understanding so I have more to give not only to myself but to my family and society as a whole.
Last but not least I know living this lifestyle will provide me with financial freedom. Not only will this guarantee me security and comfort for the remainder of my life, but also the lives of my family and everyone I care about.”
At the end of your day, you will also need to read your purpose statement out loud before getting into bed. Just as you did in the morning, be sure to read it out loud and mix in a high level of emotion on those key words.
I cannot stress strongly enough how important it is for you to do this twice daily. The reason is we are using the power of repetition combined with the power of emotion to program your subconscious mind to know, believe and accept exactly what you want and why you want it.
By doing this over and over again for a period of no less than 30 days and closer to 90 days if you want to guarantee results, you are literally conditioning yourself for success. Truthfully, I would highly recommend you get into this habit of success conditioning for the remainder of your life; I understand at this stage this may be too much to commit to.
Allow me a moment to explain why this is so important. The subconscious mind is your most powerful resource if used correctly. The process outlined above works because it has been scientifically proven that if you hold a thought in your mind for an extended period of time with high levels of intensity and emotions mixed in, it’s only a matter of time before your conscious mind begins to believe and accept it.
Once your conscious mind begins to believe this is what you want and understands exactly why, it will begin to take root in your subconscious mind as well and this is when the magic happens.
The reason this is so powerful is that once your subconscious mind believes and accepts what you want, it will begin working 24 hours per day, seven days per week seeking out ways of getting exactly what you want. It does this because it now knows, believes and accepts exactly what you want and understands why you want it.
This, in my opinion, is what many people tend to confuse with the law of attraction. Don’t get me wrong, I am a firm believer in the law of attraction, but I also understand that programming your subconscious mind in this manner is equally if not even more powerful. Why do I believe this? Because if done correctly it is guaranteed to work.
The reason why it is guaranteed to work is relatively easy to understand. As we have already mentioned in an early chapter, action is always going to be required in order to produce a positive result.
By programming your subconscious mind and conditioning in the above manner, it will be working around the clock to identify everything and anything that can move you closer in the direction of your objective. This includes any action that will be required to produce the desired results.
In addition to identifying any action, it will also encourage you and provide motivation when you just don’t feel like taking the required action. In this case, it will work with your conscious mind by controlling and directing your focus to the key areas; completing as many of the required actions and activities as possible to ensure you receive the maximum points possible for the day.
Let us say for example part of your daily actions in the key area of health and fitness is to go for a 30-minute walk in the evening when you get home from work. You come home after a long day and feel tired and the thought of going for a walk just isn’t exactly something that appeals to you at the moment.
In fact, just the opposite. The idea of changing your shoes and walking out the door is a little depressing. After all you’ve had a hard day and deserve to just take some time to relax and this is exactly what your mind begins to tell you. Also, you haven’t watched the highlights from last night’s game and you have been thinking about it several times throughout the day.
If you haven’t conditioned your subconscious mind to know exactly what you really want and why you want it, chances are it’s only a matter of minutes before you kick off your shoes, grab a beer, sit in the recliner and flick on the TV. After all this is part of your regular routine and it has become the norm for you.
However, if you have followed our process and conditioned your subconscious mind for the minimum of 30-days with the power of repetition and strong emotions by reading out loud exactly what you want in the area of your health and fitness and why you want it, something else will happen.
Your sub-conscious will begin to resist the temptation of your normal activities if they are not moving you in the direction of achieving your day’s objective. Instead, it will begin talking to you. Encouraging you to take the right actions by reminding you what you really want and why.
It has been conditioned over the last 30-days or more to believe you really want to live your life today as a happy, well-balanced, strong, and independent man or whatever you have decided for your purpose. It will be quick to remind you that you need to go for your walk because it knows this will move you closer to what you really want.
This is the power of conditioning yourself for success. Why it is so important that you take the time to read out loud each morning and every night your purpose statement. This is the only proven method of programming your subconscious mind that is guaranteed to produce results.
Do not just take my word for it, take the word of Napoleon Hill as this is basically exactly what he outlined in his book ‘Think and Grow Rich.’ Listen to the millions of people around the globe who use some form of this method to produce the desired results to live the life they have designed for themselves.
Another confirmation that this method works is outlined in the science of Neuro Associative Conditioning, which was created by Tony Robbins over a quarter of a century ago back in the early 1990’s. Neuro Associative Conditioning or N.A.C. as it is also known is similar to NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) which is also a neuroscience
The major difference between N.A.C. and NLP is the word “conditioning”. Tony Robbins discovered that by using the power of repetition and mixing in strong emotions and physiology, you can condition yourself for success and create lasting change.
N.A.C. is the science used in every Tony Robbins event around the globe today. It is the science behind Tony’s success and what has made him by far the most successful life coach, strategist, guru or whatever you want to call him, that the world has ever known.
All we have done is slightly modified Napoleon Hill’s definite major purpose statement to include relationships, health and growth. We also threw in some of Tony Robbins, Science of Neuro Associative Conditioning for good measures. By combining the two we now have what I believe to be one of the most powerful resources ever created for creating lasting change and producing the results you desire in virtually any area or areas of your life that you choose to incorporate it into.
When you also include your new system of controlling and directing your focus, achieving and maintaining balance within the four key areas by tracking your progress by using your point system, you will become unstoppable.
Focus, Balance and Purpose is your Massive Action Plan or your M.A.P.
If you take daily, consistent action and use what you have learned, you are literally guaranteed to succeed. You really can have it all. Amazing relationships, increased levels of health and fitness, improved skill and higher levels of knowledge, security, comfort and peace of mind from the knowledge of knowing you will always have enough money to do what you want, when you want.
The Real Secret
In 2006, a new film hit the cinemas and streaming services around the world. It made claims to reveal the great mysteries of the universe regarding wealth, success and happiness. In addition to the film came the book – The Secret, written by Rhonda Byrne and quickly became a worldwide bestseller and mega success. This started what can only be described as a movement in the area of self help, personal development and students of the law of attraction.
Although I enjoyed both the film and the book I’m not 100% certain it really reveals any great secrets as the greater majority of what is included had already been introduced decades earlier in Napoleon Hill’s classic book ‘Think and Grow Rich’ or ‘The Science of Getting Rich’ by Wallace Wattles written in 1910.
Also, they are lacking what I believe to be the most important element of the formula for success, which is consistent action. As previously mentioned throughout this book I am a fan of the law of attraction, however, I believe it is only a tool that is available to assist us in the creation of the internal drive required to take consistent actions.
You want to know the Real Secret? The quality of your life comes down to two things. The decisions you make and the actions you take. That’s it. No more or no less.
Take a moment to think about it right now and take a closer look at where you are in each of the key areas.
Let’s start with your Relationships. I believe if you are being 100% honest with yourself you would have to agree that the quality of all your relationships at this moment and time is a direct result of all the decisions you have made and all the actions you have taken in each one of your relationships.
Keep in mind it doesn’t matter if your relationships are amazing or if they are a complete train wreck. It doesn’t matter if they are new or old, intimate, social or casual. Regardless of how you feel they are at this moment and time you can either take the credit or take the blame based on all your previous decisions and actions up until this point.
Perhaps a better example would be to look at the area of your Health/Fitness. If you are overweight at the moment, why do you believe this is the case? If you are like the greater majority of individuals facing this challenge after trying to convince yourself you are either big boned or have a slow metabolism, you would have to admit it is really because of your poor choice of diet and/or your lack of exercise over a period of time.
However, the flipside is also true (in the majority of cases). If you are in great shape chances are more likely than not it’s because you have made better decisions regarding your diet and have taken more positive actions when it comes to exercise.
What about the key area of your Personal Growth? If you are one of the lucky individuals who has a real hunger to learn, acquire and master new skills, chances are it all comes down to the decisions you have made along the way and the actions you have taken based on those decisions.
Last but far from least, what about the key area of your Finances? I’m confident most would agree, with the exception of maybe a handful of trust fund kids and/or lottery winners, if your finances are in order and secure, you can trace it back to the decisions and actions you have made previously in regards to your career, budget and lifestyle.
In reality the secret to the success of the One Source Personal Development system or any other successful personal development system is down to its ability to help you to control and direct your focus on the decisions you are making in these areas.
By tracking your daily progress, It allows you to become very aware of what you are doing right along the way and, thereby, allows you to make better decisions regarding what actions you need to be taking going forward.
Keeping balance between the four key areas creates what is known as a state of flow and allows you to proactively make better decisions; produces the clarity to select the best actions required to achieve the desired results.
As mentioned earlier, living with a sense of purpose helps to create the internal drive that is required to make better decisions and take stronger actions on a consistent basis.
When you put all three of these together:
- Focus
- Balance
- Purpose
You have an extremely powerful tool or system designed to help you to make better decisions and take better actions on a daily, weekly, monthly basis. This is the real secret to the power of the One Source Personal Development System and the real secret to creating an amazing life.
There really is no magic bullet or ancient secret that is going to solve all of life’s problems and provide you an amazing life full of health, wealth and happiness without the need to make better decisions and take more action.

I stated in the very beginning of this book back in Chapter One there was power in the meaning behind these three little words of focus, balance and purpose. I hope you now have a better understanding of what I was referring to.
